We’re on the hunt for a Bar Duty Manager who lives and breathes hospitality. Someone who can shake, stir, lead, and inspire. You’ll help bring Elevation Bar & Restaurant to life, set the tone for an unforgettable bar experience, and guide a passionate team in one of New Zealand’s most stunning locations.

Responsibilities

• Leading daily bar operations with energy, confidence, and great guest vibes.
• Shaking, stirring, and showing off flair bartending skills to elevate the guest experience.
• Managing bar bookings, walk-ins, and keeping the atmosphere flowing smoothly.
• Creating and supporting new cocktail specials, seasonal menus, and fun bar promotions.
• Handling guest enquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and charm.
• Working closely with the kitchen to ensure seamless service and timing.
• Upholding all bar policies, hotel standards, and delivering consistent, high-quality service.
• Maintaining a positive, safe, and upbeat environment for the whole bar team.
• Ensuring full compliance with the Supply of Alcohol Act and responsible service practices.
• Training staff in cocktail techniques, flair basics, and exceptional guest service.
• Boosting bar sales through engaging service, upselling, and creating memorable guest moments.
