What You’ll Do

As a Graduate Electrical Engineer, you’ll have the opportunity to develop specialist technical skills while contributing to the reliable and sustainable operation of our power generation assets. This is a hands‑on role that will see you diving into investigations, design work, technical analysis, and project delivery. Reporting to our Engineering Manager – Electrical and C&I, you’ll work closely with experienced engineers, gaining exposure to real‑world challenges and solutions that keep our generation assets performing at their best.

Over the two‑year Graduate Programme, you’ll continue to grow both technically and personally through mentoring, learning opportunities, and a variety of engineering challenges, all designed to help you thrive as you launch your career in the energy industry.

This is a full‑time, permanent position based at our Hamilton office. You’ll be required to spend time at our generation sites gaining valuable hands‑on experience whilst learning how our assets operate and how we manage them.

What You’ll Need

We’re looking for a graduate who’s curious, proactive, and eager to make a difference. • Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or a related discipline
• Strong interest in power systems, power engineering, and control & instrumentation
• Collaborative and practical, with strong problem‑solving and communication skills
• Graduated within the last 2 years or due to graduate by December 2025
• Eligible to work permanently in New Zealand
• A full New Zealand driver’s licence
