About the role :
We are seeking a Senior Data and Automation Analyst to join our team. This role is pivotal in contributing to company goals by providing technical leadership in data analysis and automation to support water services projects. You will act as a project manager, team leader, and mentor, ensuring project outcomes meet both client and Stantec expectations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide technical expertise in specialist areas of automation, analytics and data engineering to meet project needs
- Develop and mentor junior staff, leading the data and automation analysts within the NZ Digital Practice
- Build strong relationships and foster a sharing culture across the Digital Practice and relevant streams
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, identify opportunities, and develop business in line with Stantec business strategies
- Ensure the delivery of robust data analytics and automated processes on time and within budget
- Promote automation solutions within Stantec NZ and APAC for internal and external clients
- Fulfill the role of Project Technical Lead in delivering projects both internally and with external clients
- Lead the ongoing development, use and support of digital products
What we are looking for :
Relevant tertiary qualification desirable (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science)Proven experience in data analysis, automation, and project managementTechnical expertise in data analytics, data automation, and data engineeringExperience with geospatial dataExperience using FME for data automation / transformation / engineering (FME Certified Professional preferred)Experience with other data and automation technologies and methodologies e.g. SQL, Python, R, Power Platform, Power BI, TableauAbility to build and maintain strong client relationshipsExperience consulting and business development desirableAgile experience desirableWhat we offer :
