About the Role

We're looking for a Checkout Operator to join our Woolworths New Zealand team.

This role is ideal for anyone looking to refine their craft and work in a dynamic retail environment.

What You'll Do

Provide face-to-face customer service at checkouts

Manage cash and EFTPOS payments

Help customers by being knowledgeable about our products and services in store

Ensure compliance with rules around the sale of age-restricted goods such as tobacco and alcohol

Assist customers through our self-service checkouts

About You

Understands good customer service

Helps make customer-first decisions aligned to processes and systems

Works well within a team and communicates effectively

Willing to work on your feet for the duration of your shift

Exudes a friendly smile and welcoming attitude
