Manager Strategic Planning

Opportunity

As the Manager Strategic Planning you will lead a specialist team to set the medium‑and‑long‑term direction for how water, wastewater and stormwater networks and services will evolve, ensuring that all planning and decision making about assets and investments is aligned with the organisation's overall goals, sustainability and resilience priorities and stakeholder needs.

Responsibilities

• Set the medium‑ and long‑term direction for 3 waters services.
• Work across the organisation and influence investment planning decision making.
• Lead, coach and develop a multi‑disciplinary strategic planning team.
• Drive the development and maintenance of strategic plans (10‑30 years with a 100‑year horizon) for the evolution of each of the three water networks / systems.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve strategic frameworks.
• Build strong external collaborative relationships with councils and other water services providers.
