About the role

We are looking for a driven and career‑focused External Salesperson to join our Auckland based team and cover the West and North Shore area .

You will represent our Aluminium, Engineering, Stainless, and Steel divisions, building strong customer relationships and identifying new opportunities across the region. This role is ideal for someone with a proven track record in field sales, who thrives in a results‑driven environment and understands that relationship‑building is key to long‑term success.

Key responsibilities include :

• Drive new business growth by identifying and securing opportunities
• Grow and manage an existing customer portfolio
• Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs
• Deliver outstanding customer service with expert product knowledge
• Work with internal teams to provide tailored solutions
• Track market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead
• Hours : Monday–Friday, 7 : 00am–5 : 00pm / 8am-5pm
• Proven sales success in a target‑driven environment
• New business development with a “ hunter ” mindset
• Strong relationship management and negotiation skillsKnowledge of the building or construction industry (advantageous)
• Experience managing budgets and achieving targets
• Intermediate–advanced computer and solid numerical skills
