Bistro Allpress by Allpress Olive Groves has officially opened, with a fantastic first weekend and glowing guest feedback. Surrounded by native bush and olive trees, our new Bistro, Tasting Room, and Events spaces offer one of Waiheke Island’s most exciting new hospitality experiences.

We’re now looking for a Bistro Operations Manager to help lead this next phase — someone who’s motivated, guest-focused, and ready to guide a great team through an exciting summer ahead.

This is a brunch and lunch operation — no late nights — and the role sits within the wider Allpress Olive Groves business, providing strong operational support, structure, and team backing.

The Role

As our Bistro Operations Manager, you’ll help oversee day-to-day operations at Bistro Allpress, ensuring our guest experience remains warm, consistent, and memorable. You’ll support the FOH team, work closely with the kitchen, and help build strong systems as we grow.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, develop, and support a passionate FOH team
• Maintain smooth daily operations — bookings, service flow, venue presentation, guest experience
• Collaborate closely with the Head Chef and leadership team to ensure alignment across bistro and events
• Monitor sales, manage costs, and contribute to operational and financial success
• Uphold safety, cleanliness, and compliance standards
• Adapt to seasonal changes in staffing, workflow, and guest demand
