National Business Development Manager

At Scitex, we're partnering with a respected industry leader to help them appoint a National BDM Manager to drive growth across the New Zealand market.

This role is perfect for a proven business development professional who thrives in technical environments, enjoys being customer-facing, and is motivated by winning major project-based work.

Our client is well known across healthcare, industrial, and commercial construction.

Holding industry relationships with facility managers, project leads, and infrastructure decision-makers—especially within hospitals, prisons, and the organisations responsible for designing and building these critical environments will be key.

What you will do

Lead national BD activity and grow market presence across NZ

Build and manage relationships with consultants, contractors & facility managers

Target hospital, prison, large infrastructure projects, and wholesalers using your network

Generate new business and expand existing accounts through technical solutions

Present proposals, tenders, drawings, and product recommendations

Track pipeline, report on market trends & deliver on monthly sales targets

What we are looking for

Strong BD background with clear examples of generating and closing sales

Existing relationships across hospitals, prisons & major facility build sectors is an advantage

Experience in electrical, medical, construction, or technical project-based sectors

Self-motivated, proactive, and commercially sharp – a true go-getter

Exceptional communication, relationship-building & negotiation skills

NZ driver's licence and willingness to travel nationally
