As an experienced Quantity Surveyor you will take a leading role in the Wellington office, working with high‑calibre clients on significant and complex projects. About the Role

As an Associate Quantity Surveyor, you’ll lead the management and delivery of projects across multiple sectors, supporting the growth and capability of the Wellington team. Your role involves full project lifecycle involvement – from feasibility and estimating to cost planning, procurement, financial management, and final account reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare master plans, feasibility budgets, and cost estimates.
• Provide detailed cost checking, value engineering, and cost management advice.
• Lead tender evaluations, contract negotiations, and procurement strategies.
• Manage cost reporting, forecasting and financial performance.
• Evaluate variations, prepare claims, and settle final accounts.
• Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Contribute to benchmarking, innovation and continuous improvement.
• Mentor and develop junior quantity surveying staff.
