About the role
This newly created position will support core financial management while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. You'll take ownership of key accounting activities, expanding your capabilities within a supportive environment.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will;
- Ensure AP / AR activities are completed accurately and coded correctly, while maintaining oversight of related journals, accruals and month-end adjustments
- Complete balance sheet and bank reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate, audit-ready records.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports, variance analysis and commentary to support forecasting, budgeting and decision-making.
- Identify efficiency opportunities, enhance reporting workflows and support the introduction of more effective ERP systems and tools.
- Support setup of new customers and vendors, ensuring due diligence and consistent data quality across systems.
- Work closely with operational teams to translate financial information into practical insights to support day-to-day activities and improve operational performance.
About you
Our ideal candidate will have
- A relevant Accounting / Finance degree and ideally be CA qualified or working toward CA certification.
- 2–4+ years' experience in accounting, financial analysis or management accounting.
- Advanced capability in Excel and proficiency in ERP systems / software with the confidence to explore functionality for improved outcomes.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage and support non-financial stakeholders.
- A keen eye for detail and excellent organisational skills; able to work confidently under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A proactive, curious and results-driven mindset, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
