Job description3+ years of electrical experience NZ Registered Electrician + current EWRB Practising License HVAC electrical experience (or strong willingness to learn) Solid NZ industry experience Strong work ethic and reliability HVAC industry experience highly regarded Health & Safety knowledge and commitment Full, clean NZ driver’s licence Permanent working rights in NZ Complete electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work to a high standard Diagnose and resolve faults safely and efficiently Ensure all work complies with NZ Electrical Standards and EWRB regulations Communicate clearly with clients, site managers, and team members Maintain accurate job records and documentation Follow all on‑site Health & Safety procedures Competitive pay rate (based on experience) Company mobile phone All uniform and PPE gear provided Company work vehicle @airmc.co.nz.

Air MC Ltd is a 100% New Zealand‑owned and operated Air Conditioning & Refrigeration company. Due to continued growth within our Commercial, Residential and Service & Maintenance Departments we’re expanding and looking for a skilled Registered Electrician to join our high‑performing team.
This role focuses on HVAC electrical across premium residential and commercial projects. You’ll work directly with our HVAC Installation teams, wiring heat pumps, central ducted systems, VRF / VRV, and ventilation systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Wiring heat pumps, multi‑split, and central ducted units
- Electrical installation for VRF / VRV and ventilation systems
- Control wiring, isolators, relays, RCDs, and system commissioning
- Fault‑finding, testing, and issuing CoCs
- Working alongside install teams and project managers
