Ashburton Community Alcohol and Drug Service (ACADS) are looking for a qualified and experienced AOD Clinician to join our team. Based in the Mid Canterbury District. This position is 38 hour’s per week.
ACADS is a Not-For-Profit organisation dedicated to reducing alcohol and drug related harm in the Ashburton District. By providing accessible and responsive mental health and addiction services in our local community and engaging in health promotion activities. ACADS aims to empower individuals, families, and the community to make positive choices and achieve improved health and well‑being.
ACADS provides assessment and therapeutic services to people experiencing substance abuse challenges. Our aim is to support people and whanau and to enhance their well‑being. We are looking for a person who is enthusiastic, passionate, and self‑motivated to join our existing team.
To be considered for this role it is essential you :
You will need experience in undertaking assessments and developing care plans that align with an individual’s goal. The person we are looking for to join our team would have a positive outlook, sound clinical knowledge, good time management skills. As a member of our team, you would focus on strengths and utilise interventions that are engaging and inclusive.
