The Wellington lab provides high-quality diagnostic pathology services to the community, healthcare professionals, and patients.

The Histology Department is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and skilled Medical Secretary. This is a permanent, full-time position (80 hours per fortnight), based at Wellington Hospital, Newtown.

Responsibilities

• Typing patient letters, answering phone calls, and dealing with queries (often via email), booking appointments
• Collating of multi-disciplinary meetings
• General Administration
• Typing of Histology reports
• Referring cases
