Our kura provides three pathways, Te Puawaitanga (English-Medium), Awahou (Dual Immersion) and Te Uru Karaka (Maori Medium).
Te Uru Karaka Newton Central School's vision statement : Aroha mai, Aroha atu, Mana mai, Mana atu - says that when we demonstrate respect and love for ourselves, we can demonstrate respect and love for others, and underpins everything we do at our kura.
Our Learner Profile is defined by four pou values : Whanaungatanga, Kaitiakitanga, Rangatiratanga and Manaakitanga.
These Pou represent our values and are threaded through our kura Tiriti-based approach.
