Nurse Prescriber - The Doctors Whangaparaoa

We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and dedicated Nurse Prescriber to join our modern General Practice. As a Nurse Prescriber in General Practice, you will play a key role in enhancing community health and equity. This role offers the opportunity to use your advanced clinical expertise, prescribing authority to improve patient outcomes. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and have the support of dedicated medical centre leadership. This role will also be responsible for running their own clinics with the support of the General Practitioners.

This is a permanent position working between 16-40 hours across 4-5 days per week from Monday - Friday

What We Are Looking For

• An experienced Nurse Prescriber
• Registered Nurse with a current NZ practicing certificate
• Experience in the primary health care sector; dedication to patient health and proactive chronic care management
• Nurse Prescriber qualification
• Current vaccinator certificate
• Proficiency in any PMS is preferred (we will provide training)
• Certification as a cervical smear taker (preferred)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse individuals
• A commitment to cultural awareness and the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi
