The Opportunity
We're on the hunt for a Divisional Manager to join the Fulton Hogan Central Otago team, based in our Alexandra office.
In this role, you'll be a key member of a solid and supportive divisional leadership team. Our NZTA road maintenance, CODC road maintenance, Landscaping and Roadmarking business units are critical to the long-term success of our region. As we negotiate to renew our NZTA road maintenance contract for another term, we're seeking a new leader to take this division to the next level.
Reporting to the Executive Divisional Manager – Infrastructure, you'll lead your functions and oversee day-to-day operations, supporting your management team to achieve consistently high safety, environmental, and financial performance, while delivering satisfaction to both clients and staff. You will be a natural people leader, motivated by challenge and change, with a background in the civil construction industry.

We're looking for someone with solid experience in civil construction or road maintenance, along with the interpersonal skills that make you a great leader and team member. You'll have experience in people and contract leadership, comprehensive financial management (revenue, expected margin, procurement, cost control, and WIP), and a commitment to safety leadership. Relevant tertiary qualifications and the ability to engage effectively with people at all levels are essential.
