Head of Finance - Markets

At FNZ, we are seeking a highly motivated Head of Finance – Markets to join our global finance team, supporting the FNZ Markets division — a unique blend of cutting-edge SaaS technology used by customers in APAC, Europe and the US, ASX execution, clearing and settlement operations in Australia, and Hatch, our retail online broker in New Zealand.

This is a high-impact role that offers challenge, variety, and the opportunity to work across multiple business models in a rapidly growing global organisation.

What You Will Do :

As Head of Finance – Markets you will take full ownership responsibility for the financial integrity and performance of the FNZ Markets division across the APAC region. You’ll lead a talented regional finance team and oversee :

• Month-end close processes and financial reporting to the group.
• Full ledger ownership for selected Markets entities within the global group
• Oversight of accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash reporting
• Oversight of tax compliance including income tax, GST, FBT, and PAYG
• Managing external audits and acting as the key contact for auditors
• Strategic input into new business opportunities, budgeting and M&A projects.
• Presenting board and executive level financial reporting across multiple regulated businesses
• Managing the capital / liquidity position of an ASX clearing participant in Australia.
