Machine Operator- Night Shift

Night shift role with training, growth & hands-on work in a solid, long-standing food production team.Our client is a well-established leader in the flour and grain milling industry, we are seeking a motivated and reliable machine operator to join their production team in Otahuhu.

This role is ideal for someone with at least 2 years' experience in FMCG or manufacturing who is eager to take on a practical, hands-on position with excellent training and strong long-term career prospects.

You will receive comprehensive training across the production process, learning to operate automated systems, manage raw materials, and support the production of high-quality flour-based products.ResponsibilitiesMeasure, weigh, and blend raw materials including grains and bransAssist with bagging, palletizing, and stacking finished productConduct basic quality checks and complete shift documentationOperate forklifts to move materials around the site (if licensed)Clean and maintain work areas in line with food safety standardsSupport general manufacturing and production duties as requiredAbout youMinimum 2 years' experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environmentPhysically fit and able to perform manual handling tasksA forklift license is highly preferred (or willingness to obtain one)Basic computer literacy and ability to follow written instructionsStrong attention to detail and a safety-first attitudeWillingness to work night shifts and occasional overtimeEagerness to learn, take direction, and grow within the businessBenefitsFull training provided – learn a skilled trade from the ground upTemp-to-perm opportunity with a highly reputable food manufacturerSupportive team environment and experienced leadershipLong-term career development in a stable, essential industryConvenient Otahuhu location with onsite parkingHoursHours of work are from
