About the role
The role of a Support Worker involves providing assistance to individuals in developing their independence and acquiring skills for daily living. This includes tasks like helping them with public transportation, employment, finances, and meal preparation.
Depending on the specific work environment, Support Workers may also assist with individual needs such as shopping, cleaning, showering and medication administration.
What you will bring
No prior experience in the health and disability sector is necessary, but a strong desire to pursue a career as a Support Worker with a positive attitude is highly valued.
Full training and orientation will be provided to individuals who demonstrate enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
