HOD guidance : 3MU, 2MMA, either 0.8 or 1.0 position

We are seeking an inspired, experienced, energised, proactive counsellor to lead a team of five counsellors, two receptionists and a wide range of itinerant therapists. Mount Roskill Grammar School is a well‑resourced, dynamic multi‑cultural inter‑city school with a vibrant student services department.

We provide quality counselling, and we run a wide range of proactive preventative well‑being initiatives and student co‑led groups. Our HOD guidance works closely alongside senior leadership and its work is woven into the pastoral teams within our school.

We are a restorative and teaching to the North East school.

• Both post‑graduate qualifications and teacher registration are required.
• Training in restorative practices, experience in traumatic incident response management and a passion for group work are highly desirable.
• Applicants should include a covering letter outlining relevant experience and a copy of their CV.
