THE COMPANY :

We are currently working with a nationally operated Civil Construction company that covers the entire Canterbury and Otago regions, delivering aggregate and materials to various sites, with this role reporting to their Amberley yard each morning.

THE GIG :

We are looking for an experienced Class 4 Driver for a role starting ASAP based in Harewood, with Tipper experience, physical fitness and a willingness to work within a small trucking team.

Physical fitness would require hopping in and out of the cab multiple times a day, some work on the back of the vehicle when spotting and general truck cleaning duties as required by all staff.

Effective communication, strong experience reversing Class 4 vehicles and a strong focus on Health and Safety as your day to day role will be working on highways majority of the day.

In this position you will work Monday to Friday, 7am‑5 / 5 : 30pm, although at times you will finish earlier. Some Fridays start at 4 / 5am and finish 2 / 3pm. OT opportunities on Saturday mornings are on offer during the summer months, with the ability to pick up work this side of Christmas.
