Manukau Electrical Warehouse Limited in Auckland is seeking a talented Web Administrator & Website Developer and E-Commerce Administrator to manage our online storefronts end-to-end—building fast, accessible webpages, optimising product data, and running the day-to-day of our NZ e-commerce operations. You'll collaborate with marketing, operations, and customer service to grow traffic, conversion, and average order value.
- Develop, design, and maintain company websites to ensure high performance, responsiveness, and user experience.
- Build, maintain, and optimise website features, templates, and components (performance, accessibility, SEO).
- Integrate third-party apps / APIs (payments, shipping, marketing tools, reviews, loyalty).
- Manage product catalogue : SKUs, descriptions, imagery, pricing, bundles, tags, and categories.
- Oversee promotions : discount codes, campaigns, onsite merchandising, and landing pages.
- Keep inventory accurate via platform / ERP sync; coordinate with warehouse on stock and backorders.
- Configure shipping rules, tax (incl. NZ GST), payments, and transactional email / SMS.
- Monitor and improve metrics : traffic, conversion rate, AOV, cart abandonment, fulfilment SLAs, NPS / CSAT.
- Maintain content cadence : blogs, FAQs, help centre, and policy pages (shipping / returns / privacy).
- Partner with customer service on escalations, refunds, and fraud checks.
- Monitor and update website content, plugins, and security patches regularly.
- Implement SEO best practices to improve website visibility and ranking.
- Ensure site security by managing firewalls, SSL certificates, and data protection measures.
- Manage over 8,000 SKUs within the product.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website performance issues, bugs, and errors.
- Optimise websites for speed, mobile compatibility, and cross-browser functionality.
- Manage web hosting, domains, and backups to ensure continuity.
- Collaborate with the marketing and IT teams to integrate digital solutions and meet business needs.
- Track website analytics and provide regular performance reports.
Minimum Requirements :
3 years relevant experience and / or the minimum of a Diploma (Level 5) and above in a relevant field in IT.Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, etc.).Experience with databases (MySQL, SQL Server) and server administration.Understanding of SEO, website analytics tools, and online security protocols.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills.What We Offer
