About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for two Registered Nurses to join our dynamic and supportive Outpatient Department, with a focus on the Fracture and Orthopaedic Conditions. This is a fast-paced, patient-centred environment where you - ll work alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care across the lifespan.

You will be :

  • Providing compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to patients with orthopaedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Collaborate with orthopaedic specialists, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Support patients through their treatment journey, including cast care, wound management, and post-operative education.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture and continuous quality improvement.

In the Fracture Clinic, we are a dedicated, multidisciplinary team committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to patients across the lifespan. We work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, supporting both acute and elective outpatient needs. About you

  • Experienced Registered Nurse working in New Zealand Health Care setting
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, valuing each member - s role in patient care.
  • Clear, compassionate communication with patients, whānau, and colleagues - especially in high-pressure situations.
  • Respect for diverse backgrounds and a commitment to equitable, culturally appropriate care
  • Comfort with a fast-paced, dynamic environment where priorities can shift quickly.
  • A caring approach that supports patients and their whānau through injury and recovery
  • Precision in documentation, assessment, and follow-up to ensure safe and effective care.
  • Ability to think critically and respond to clinical challenges with sound judgment.
  • Capacity to manage stress, support others, and maintain professionalism under pressure.
  • Willingness to stay updated with best practices, new technologies, and evolving clinical guidelines.
