About the RoleWe're looking for a Senior Portfolio Manager to lead the strategic planning, commissioning, and integration of community and mental health services across a defined portfolio.You'll drive system and service redesign, lead complex programmes of work, and provide expert advice to inform investment decisions and improve population health outcomes.
This role works closely with Portfolio Managers, System Design Managers, and regional partners to deliver joined-up, equity-focused care.
You'll bring deep commissioning experience, strong strategic thinking, and the ability to influence across the health system.
About the TeamThis role sits within the Funding & Integration team in Planning, Funding & Outcomes.You'll collaborate with colleagues across PFO, Hospital & Specialist Services, Hauora Maori, NPHS, and the wider sector to deliver joined-up, patient-centred care across the Central Region.
About youYou're a strategic thinker with a track record in commissioning, service design, and system transformation.You're confident navigating complexity, building partnerships, and leading change to improve outcomes.
