Job Purpose

The Production / Extrusion Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and executing production processes to ensure the efficient and high-quality manufacturing of pet food products. This involves maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and operating state-of-the-art machines and equipment in the Extrusion, Packing, Meats, Treats & RDF, and Raw Material Handling / Batching lines.

Job Responsibilities

• Production Operations :

Perform and execute production processes to meet production targets and quality standards.

Perform or audit routine maintenance or Basic Equipment Care (BEC) and repairs on production equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure product consistency and compliance with regulatory standards.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements.

Facilitate ongoing learning and development opportunities for new and existing team members.

Perform other tasks that may be assigned either individually or as part of a committee or team.
