As a Tamariki Ora Kaiawhina, you'll work alongside a registered Tamariki Ora Nurse to support whanau through education and health promotion, helping pepi thrive from the very beginning.

For over 40 years, we have worked alongside whanau to achieve the best outcomes through clinical and community wellness support, complemented by social, education, and personal development programmes.

Key Duties include : Support the delivery of the Tamariki Ora programme through health promotion and education Support universal contact checks and discretionary checks in consultation with Tamariki Ora Nurse.

Promote and support the Tamariki Ora Service and ensure whanau and community are informed about the service and its importance to the health and wellbeing of Tamariki.

Document all Tamariki Ora contacts in the electronic health record (Indici) Provide education and support services Assist with access and referrals in the following areas : Breastfeeding, Dental education, Pepi development
