We are seeking a skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic to maintain, repair, and service a fleet of commercial trucks, ensuring the safety and reliability of vehicles and delivering outstanding service to customers.

Responsibilities
Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and heavy-duty truck systems, including electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Repair and replace parts such as engines, brakes, steering mechanisms, including COF repairs and accident repairs
Utilise diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical issues and implement solutions
Collaborate with service advisors and team members to deliver timely and efficient service
Skills sought
Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably within a dealership or similar environment and experience working on late model trucks
Certification as a Diesel Mechanic or equivalent technical training
Sound technical skills, strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and mechanical and fault-finding ability
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and technology
Good communication skills
Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair and maintenance, as well as truck systems (brakes, hydraulics, electrical, etc.)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-demand, service-driven environment
