Lecturer in Veterinary Nursing

The Veterinary Nursing Lecturer is a permanent, part-time position (0.4 FTE), with potential for additional FTE depending on the right candidate’s skills to join our role to develop and teach theory and practical subjects in the Animal Care, Diploma, and Bachelor of Veterinary Nursing programmes. This role also involves contributing to curriculum development and supporting student success.

The appointing salary for this role will be between $76,772 and $82,109 , dependent on skills and experience.

The Lecturer is based in our Education, Social Sciences & Veterinary Nursing team , reporting to the Head of School , and will be responsible for :

• Preparing and updating curriculum and course materials.
• Delivering engaging theory and practical learning experiences.
• Facilitating student learning using blended and flexible delivery modes.
• Undertaking assessment, evaluation, and moderation processes.
• Supporting student wellbeing and liaising with student support services.
• (For degree-level teaching) Contributing to research and scholarly activity.
