We’re looking for a Real Time Operations Team Leader to join our Real Time Operations team at ATOC. This permanent role offers the chance to contribute to AT’s strategic goals and make a meaningful difference in how Auckland moves.

In this role, you’ll :

Be responsible for leading and motivating a team to deliver exceptional performance, ensuring operational excellence, and supporting individual development. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to meet business objectives while maintaining a positive and inclusive team culture.This is an exciting opportunity for someone who :

• Lead and enable a high-performing team responsible for real-time monitoring and management of Auckland’s transport network (all modes, assets, and facilities)

• Drive the implementation of strategic business plans and continuous improvement initiatives
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-achieving team culture, building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?

As a seasoned professional, you’ll bring experience working in large-scale, performance-driven environments. You’ll also bring :

• A relevant tertiary qualification and / or significant experience in operations, logistics, communications, or customer service
• 3–5 years’ experience in a people leadership role within operations, logistics, or service delivery
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams in a complex environment
• Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills, with experience in incident management systems (CIMS) desirable
• High level of computer literacy (Microsoft Office suite) and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement
• Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role, ideally within transport industry.
• Ability to manage performance and drive accountability.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
