We're looking for a full-time, fixed-term Fleet Logistics Manager to join our team on a parental leave cover contract, bringing leadership and logistical expertise to keep our fleet operations running smoothly!
As our Fleet Logistics Manager, you’ll be the engine behind our fleet operations—ensuring vehicles are in the right place at the right time, repairs are timely, compliance is seamless, and customers are never left waiting. You’ll lead a high-performing team, champion continuous improvement, and collaborate across departments to keep our branch running like clockwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a team of logistics and inventory professionals
- Coordinate vehicle movements to optimize repair schedules and compliance renewals
- Oversee inventory control and supplier coordination to maintain optimal stock levels
- Implement efficient processes that reduce rework and improve flow
- Forecast fleet and inventory needs to support business growth
- Ensure yard and off-site facilities meet safety and compliance standards
- Drive strategic projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Champion health and safety across all logistics operations
Key Requirements
Supervisory experience in fleet management, logistics, or transportationRelevant experience in inventory control or stock management within a small retail or warehouse environment, with knowledge of best practices for stores operations.Experience leading or managing large teams of drivers and inventory staffAbility to meet scheduling, safety, and efficiency standardsExamples of project management and team leadershipExperience in staff training and development specific to inventory and logistics operationsProven record of exceeding logistical targetsExperience working under high-pressure conditions.What We Offer
