Come join us.The OpportunityAt Gallagher Security, our Senior Software Engineers (Front End) are key drivers in creating world-class user experiences for our SMB platform, used by customers across the globe.

You'll take a lead role in designing and implementing the user-facing aspects of our products, working closely with the UX team and wider engineering squads.

Your expertise will ensure that our applications are robust, secure, and scalable, while providing an outstanding user experience.What you'll be doingLeading collaboration with the UX team to define product scope and design solutions through techniques such as design sprints, prototypes, and user story mappingDeveloping and delivering high-quality front-end software components using modern web frameworks, including ReactJS and ReduxApplying HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills to produce clean, maintainable, and efficient codeReviewing and providing feedback on peers' code, promoting best practices and coding standards across the teamSupporting existing products through technical troubleshooting, debugging, and quality assuranceMentoring junior and intermediate developers, sharing knowledge, and contributing to team growthStaying up to date with emerging technologies and front-end development trends to continuously improve team capabilityAbout youYou're a hands-on front-end engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, collaborating in an agile environment, and delivering high-quality user experiences.

You take pride in clean, secure code and in seeing your work used by real-world customers.You'll bringA relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience5+ years of commercial software development experienceStrong proficiency in front-end web development backed by a Cloud-hosted microservice architecture, including ReactJS, Redux, HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript / TypeScript frameworksExperience in developing secure web applications, including knowledge of OWASP and CORS policiesProficiency with version control, debugging tools, and agile development practicesDemonstrated experience mentoring and enabling other team membersSome experience in mobile application developmentA preference for working and delivering in an Agile, customer-focused, outcome-driven, collaborative environmentWhy Gallagher?
