About The Role

You will have responsibility for the profitable growth of Electrolux brands across retail partners in New Zealand. The National Business Manager has end-to-end ownership of the Noel Leeming partnership, alongside leadership of a team of Key Account Managers (KAMs) focused on driving category growth and commercial performance with their respective accounts. You will demonstrate a thorough market understanding, strong leadership capability and an ability to remain agile to deliver results.

You will work closely with the General Manager and KAMs to develop Joint Business Plans & drive flawless execution of the overall retail sales plan. Your success will be defined by the strength of yours and your team’s relationships with senior Channel stakeholders, which facilitate the achievement of mutually beneficial financial outcomes.

Also essential is for you to build strong cross-functional relationships to ensure the broader business is aligned with the Channel business plans.

What You’ll Do

Your focus will be centered around ensuring that we grow our Electrolux business both in terms of net sales and profit across the retail channel. In partnership with the General Manager & Head of Key Accounts you will engage on a regular or as needed basis with key stakeholders in the key customer network, building solid relationships across the Retail Partners.

You will coach KAMs or lead where necessary, to effectively engage in strategic discussions with key customer contacts, establishing agreements with specific objectives which deliver desired financial outcomes within the available budget.

Internally your focus, from a total channel perspective, will be.

  • Maintenance / adjustment of rolling quarterly business plans
  • Owning & optimizing the forecasting process
  • Oversight of pricing frameworks & Driver programs
  • Ensuring strategic plans are effectively executed within agreed parameters, clear communication & education is provided to field Sales teams
  • Working closely with Finance, Marketing, Product Line and Demand Planning functions to ensure a strong connection with market & other relevant trends, key account alignment with Marketing & Product plans and analysing performance & market intelligence to maximise results

Coach and facilitate KAMs to drive;

  • Execution of product core range programs
  • Execution of product merchandising standards
  • Development and management of product deal programs
  • Planning and execution of promotional activities, including retailer catalogues
  • Planning and execution of retailer floor staff alignment programs, ensuring effective training and motivation
  • Agreement of terms and reconciliation of payments for customer incentives
  • Analysis of available data to identify business opportunities, risks, and issues
  • Who You Are?

  • A seasoned National Business Manager with a proven track record of driving commercial success and strategic growth across national accounts.
  • Deep understanding and hands-on experience in the Whitegoods, Browngoods, or Consumer Electronics sectors, with a strong grasp of market dynamics and consumer trends.
  • A confident and empathetic leader and coach, skilled in developing high-performing teams and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a clear understanding of business models, key stakeholder dynamics, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams and external retail partners.
  • Technically proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, and other analytical tools, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Highly organised and agile, with a demonstrated ability to plan, prioritise, and execute multiple complex initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Results-driven, with a history of delivering measurable commercial outcomes, improving profitability, and driving sustainable business growth.
