Apprentice Carpenters

Malwa Homes Limited is seeking motivated Apprentice Carpenters to join our team. In this role, you will work alongside experienced professionals to learn the core skills needed to become a qualified Carpenter. You will be involved in installing, repairing, and maintaining wooden structures — including foundations, framing, cabinetry, doors, flooring, and trims.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals already working in the construction industry who have good understanding of building work and practices and are eager to upskill and step into a Carpentry role.

Full-time role : 30–40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities :

• Interpret blueprints, sketches, and construction plans.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install components such as window frames, doors, flooring, and cabinetry.
• Shape materials using hand and power tools; maintain these tools in good working condition.
• Build frameworks and roof structures, install sub-flooring and floorboards, and check structural accuracy.
• Fit fascia panels, roof sheathing, exterior cladding, and door and window frames.
• Put together pre-cut wood pieces to form structures and fixtures ready for installation
• Perform on-site inspections; remove and repair or replace damaged sections.
• Ensure workspace safety and maintain cleanliness; wear appropriate PPE.
