Join VetSouth’s Invercargill Companion Animal Team as a Veterinary Nurse, providing surgical and clinical care while making a difference for animals, clients, and the community.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include :
- Surgical nursing, including hospital preparation / care, anaesthetics, and animal handling
- Vet nurse consults and client education
- Collecting and submitting diagnostic samples
- Digital radiography and imaging
- Fluid therapy and IV catheter placement
- Participation in the weeknight and weekend on-call roster as part of the Companion Animal Team
