Marketing Lead - Visitor Experiences

Whanganui is a place of art, heritage, design, and natural beauty - and we're ready to tell that story to the world.

We're looking for a Marketing Lead - Visitor Experiences to be the sole marketing lead for our entire visitor portfolio, including Discover Whanganui (RTO), the Whanganui isite, Council venues, and visitor events.

In this role, you will :

• Lead Whanganui's destination marketing strategy and campaigns
• Promote our venues, events, and visitor services
• Manage our digital presence across Discover Whanganui and social media
• Work with iwi, tourism operators, and national tourism bodies
• Champion the Whanganui brand locally, nationally, and internationally
