The Heavy Diesel Mechanic role is involved in scheduled & unscheduled maintenance and repairs of a fleet of CAT haulage trucks, utility vehicles, load shifting equipment.

Some of the tasks are : Repair and maintain the hydraulic components of large mining equipmentDiagnose, overhaul, repair, tune, maintain and test diesel powered heavy equipment including trucks, dozers, and other earth moving equipmentCommunicate any safety or maintenance issues to the supervisorSkills & RequirementsTrade qualification in Heavy plant AUS / NZ Recognised Trade CertificateExperience in OEM mobile plant –CAT Haul trucks 740, 777Water cart CAT 773CAT D6 D8 D9 DozersCAT 16M GraderCAT 966, 980 LoadersKomatsu, CAT, Hitachi, Volvo excavators (PC
