About the Role
- Project Leadership : Lead end-to-end civil engineering projects, from design and approvals through construction observation and contract administration.
- Client & Stakeholder Management : Liaise with clients, councils, contractors, and consultants to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest technical standards.
- Contract & Design Oversight : Prepare and review engineering designs, calculations, and contract documentation.
- Mentoring & Team Development : Support and mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering skill development and technical excellence.
- Regulatory Compliance : Ensure all projects meet regulatory and quality standards, including resource consent and asset vesting requirements.
What We’re Looking For
Experience : Extensive experience in civil engineering and land development in New Zealand, including infrastructure for housing and subdivision projects.Qualifications : Civil Engineering degree or equivalent (BEngTech, NZCE, Washington Accord), with Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or working towards it preferred.Technical Skills : Competent in engineering software and design packages, with a strong understanding of construction methods, contracts, and regulatory standards.Professional Attributes : Excellent communication, report writing, and stakeholder management skills and the ability to lead.What’s on Offer
