Lake Taupo Christian School (State-integrated Christian composite school, Y1–13, decile 0, roll 129, Waikato).

Due to growth in multiple classes and our current teacher moving into another role, we are pleased to advertise a Y3 & Y4 classroom teacher – job share role (part‑time, permanent, 0.2 FTTE) starting Term 1, 2026.

Responsibilities

Share classroom teaching duties for Years 3 & 4 (Fridays). Plan, deliver and assess lessons, support students’ academic progress and well‑being, collaborate with the rest of the teaching team, and contribute to the school’s Christian ethos.

Qualifications & Experience

Current NZ teacher registration, legal residency or work visa to live and work in New Zealand.

Strong pedagogical and curriculum knowledge, innovative teaching practices, and a commitment to Christian education (condition of appointment).

• Certificated teacher
