We are hiring for a Business Development Manager - IT & Data Centres in our Secure Power / IT Edge team to drive sustainability, AI-readiness, and digital transformation through smarter energy solutions and resilient data centre infrastructure.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Understanding the Data Centre Business Ecosystem and identifying new opportunities within client accounts
- Developing deep relationships with enterprise customers, understanding their digital strategy, and aligning solutions that drive results
- Working closely with channel partners, system integrators, and contractors to create new demand and close business
- Executing a quarterly / annual business plan across key verticals
- Building and managing a high-value pipeline using Salesforce and a disciplined sales cadence
- Identifying new project opportunities (fitouts, upgrades, hybrid IT rollouts) and bringing in the right mix of hardware, software, and services
- Championing Schneider’s sustainability and digital transformation value to customers
What We’re Looking For
3–5 years of sales outbound experience in the data centre, Colocation & Telco industry with an interest in Digital TransformationExperience working with or through the IT channelKnowledge of enterprise IT environments and exposure to data centres, infrastructure, software, or hybrid ITA natural relationship builder who can engage strategically and consultatively at all levelsExperience managing a pipeline, creating account plans, and navigating complex salesSelf-driven, commercially astute, and excited to be part of a fast-moving, purpose-led industryBonus Points If You Have
Background working with Co-Lo, Telco, or infrastructure projectsExperience in or selling to Central Government agenciesUnderstanding of critical power, cooling, edge computing, and DCPI solutionsWhat’s In It For You?
