About the role

We are looking for a positive and enthusiastic candidate to join our Flooring Team at Mitre 10 MEGA Petone.

Responsibilities

Providing exceptional customer service to our trade and DIY customers

Providing technical information and advice to our customers, ensuring they choose the right product for their project

Maintaining recommended stock levels within the department

Maintaining a safe, clean, and tidy work environment

We are ideally seeking

Good physical fitness to unload, lift, carry and move items

Customer service experience preferred but not a requirement

Knowledge or interest to learn about all the products

Knowledge of relevant legislative governances (e.g., Health & Safety at Work Act) and act in accordance with them

Understanding of health, safety, and wellness, along with relevant practices within retail and how to keep our team mentally and physically safe, along with our customers

IT competency

This is a full-time position, rostered Sunday – Thursday.
