Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the People & Capability team, this role is responsible for setting and embedding the organisation’s health and safety strategy. You'll partner across the network to influence a proactive, accountable safety culture — one where safety is part of the everyday mindset.
This is a hands‑on, leadership‑level position that combines strategic planning with practical implementation. You’ll work across the full H&S remit, from critical risk and assurance through to reporting, coaching, and incident response.

You’re a confident and collaborative safety professional who thrives on creating practical change. You can set the direction, bring people along with you, and aren’t afraid to get stuck in where needed. You’re equally comfortable influencing at CEO level and coaching branch managers on the ground.
