We are looking for a permanent full-time Care Associate to join us in Auckland.
The guaranteed hours of work will be 30 hours per week.

This role requires self-leadership and role modelling to other Care Associates to drive a passion for clinical work excellence and the best resident experience possible. This includes working together with the hospitality team and demonstrating an understanding of the way The Helier Care Residence staff all work to equally deliver a clinically safe workplace and exceptional hospitality for the Residents.
The Care Associate will follow the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN) and undertake care that is delegated to them by the RN to ensure the highest level of quality care, while ensuring Oceania Healthcare policies, procedures, contractual and audit requirements are met and maintained.
This position will acknowledge that all interactions with residents, their whānau and guests has a potential impact on occupancy and will behave in a professional, polite and caring manner throughout all interactions. The Care associate will assist the Registered Nurse to ensure all residents who move into The Helier Care Residences have a safe, supported, and considered experience.
This role is to suppor the RN to ensure a safe, efficient, effective and sustainable clinical work environment.
The suitably candidate needs to have at least 3-year relevant experience, or Level 4 qualification in healthcare and wellbeing, or equivalent.
You must also demonstrate sound knowledge of ageing process and the complex needs of older adults.
You need to have IT literate and experienced with electronic notes and medicine management systems preferred.
You need to be able to work as a team and demonstrate an ability to mentor and support others to be successful, with clear and understandable written and verbal communication skills.
