Please note that only short-listed candidates will be contacted.Designation : Associate Producer, Tamil Current AffairsRESPONSIBILITIESThe Associate Producer (Current Affairs) works closely with producers to ensure smooth production and execution and delivery of episodes of Tamil current affairs programmes.Assist producers in pre-production planning, shoot coordination and post-production activitiesCoordinate bookings for studios, locations, equipment, talent, and production logisticsSupport budgeting processes - prepare cost estimates, track expenses and ensure expenditures are within approved limitsHandle administrative and procurement processes including contracts, payments and vendor onboardingCoordinate with graphics and post-production teams to ensure timely delivery of visual assetsManage footage organization, ingestion and AI-assisted transcription of interviewsEnsure necessary releases, permits and copyright clearances are securedSupport on-site filming logistics, including crowd control, crew and talent managementAssist in organizing promotional activities, award submissions and special projectsMaintain proper archiving of programme materials and stock footageQUALIFICATIONSDegree or Diploma in any discipline, preferably in Mass Communications, Media or related fieldsRelevant industry experience will be an advantageStrong interest and knowledge in media production, digital platforms, and social media trendsProficient in planning, organizing and coordinating production activitiesHands-on ability to operate cameras, sound, and basic video editing systemsDetail-oriented, resourceful, and able to solve problems independentlyTeam player who collaborates effectively and thrive under pressure to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
