Join us as our Health & Safety Business Partner – APAC based at our Mangere site in Auckland. In this role you will be drawing on your experience in Manufacturing / Production environments and passion for creating safe, thriving workplaces to truly make a difference. You’ll champion a proactive safety culture and lead initiatives that ensure our people go home safe and well every day.

You’ll work closely with our Director of Human Resources in Sydney, as well as onsite HR teams in Auckland and Casino (NSW) , driving excellence in safety, wellbeing, systems, and performance across our APAC operations.

This is a high impact hands on role where you will drive best practice H&S processes, systems and reporting working collaboratively with our Production and Operational teams across our sites. You will lead in embedding a proactive safety culture, well being, injury prevention and continuous improvement to ensure our team go home safe and well every day.

You will focus on :

• Implementing Best Practice H&S and Welling Processes : Champion, educate, and partner with leaders and teams to embed safe practices into daily operations across the APAC region. You'll work with the team to understand our operations and challenges to provide tailored advice which will keep our team safe while they continue to make great tasting products.
• Health & Safety Hazard Management : Support in the design and implementation of Health & Safety and Well Being strategy and processes, promoting a safety-first workplace culture across all locations. You'll ensure incident reporting and investigations are robust and work with leaders to implement corrective actions.
• Reporting : Regularly reporting on Health & Safety metrics providing actionable insights to drive continuous improvement. You will lead incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are in place. Partner with ACC and injury management provides to support return-to-work processes.
• Compliance and Continuous Improvement Mindset : Ensure full compliance across the APAC region with Employment Law and Health & Safety legislation, maintaining adherence to all regulatory requirements. You will use data-driven insights to identify risks, guide decision-making, and continuously improve outcomes always looking for ways to make systems, processes, and outcomes better.
• Relationships and Communication : You’re able to build good relationships with a wide range of people to resolve challenges and build leadership and team capability and awareness regarding safety and wellbeing. You will also liaise with external stakeholders such as ACC, Injury Management and System providers and others to ensure we are always compliant and following best practice.
• Wellbeing and Care : You will champion initiatives that strengthen resilience, connection and care for our team inspiring innovation and fresh thinking in how we keep our people safe and well.
