About the Role
The Clinical Team Manager has direct responsibility for the day-to-day operational management and leadership of the General Adult Mental Health and Addictions Service multidisciplinary teams.
There is a strong focus on service co-ordination, clinical performance and service quality, creating a positive service environment, and the delivery of whanau-centred, culturally appropriate, integrated, quality service provision.
There is also a responsibility for human resource management, including staff recruitment, induction, training, performance management and supervision; and on financial management to ensure the cost-effective and sustainable use of resources.

About the Service / Location
Our adult community mental health and addictions team provides assessment and diagnosis, treatment, advice and referral to those affected by mental health and alcohol and other drug problems.

About you
You will :
Be a registered health professional with a current practicing certificateHave previous leadership experience in a nursing or allied health settingHave a minimum of 7 years post-registration experience working in a clinical settingActively model and enhance teamwork and a positive team culture so that service delivery across Mental Health and Addictions Services is integrated, whanau-centre, high quality and sustainable.Working at Health New Zealand
