St Teresa’s School is a small, faith-filled, and vibrant Catholic state-integrated primary school (Y1–8) in the heart of the Wairarapa. Our kura is known for its strong sense of community, inclusive culture, and commitment to nurturing the whole child – spiritually, emotionally, socially, and academically.

We are seeking a faith-filled, energetic, and relational leader to guide our school into its next exciting chapter. The ideal candidate will be a practising Catholic who demonstrates deep commitment to the school’s special character and values of Faith, Love, Humility, and Justice.

Responsibilities

• Lead with Gospel values and uphold the Catholic Character of our kura.
• Foster a welcoming, collaborative, and high‑trust culture where relationships thrive.
• Empower staff and students to achieve their best through inspiration, inclusion, and innovation.
• Champion excellence in teaching and learning with a strong understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum.
• Promote Te Ao Māori and the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi within all aspects of school life.
• Engage warmly with whānau, parish, and community partners to strengthen our shared sense of belonging.
