Position Description – Graphic Designer (Part-Time)

Job Specification

Reports to : Director of Communications

Region : International / National

Location : Auckland

Industry Influence :

This role is important to ensuring that Pasifika Medical Association’ operations are well supported, to provide ongoing assistance to the operations management team.

Key Partnerships : TBA

People reporting : None

Objective :

The purpose of this Auckland-based role is to deliver design services to the PMA Family of Pacific organisations and / or programmes of work within the organisation.

Primary Responsibilities include :

• Supporting the development and implementation of PMAG creative content
• Assisting with the development of communications material as required, including material for offices of Government Ministers, Board meetings and Senior Management.
• Develop design ideas by researching and brainstorming with colleagues
• Prepare draft, sketches, instructions, and layout diagrams
• Suggest production methods, materials, and costs
• Show design ideas to clients
• Receive client feedback and alter design accordingly
• Working with the media to plan proactive media activity and develop
