Senior Sales Engineer - Capital Solutions

Our client : This is a high-spec engineering business that delivers custom-built processing systems across NZ and beyond. This is a senior role with real technical depth, partnering directly with the Directors, GM and Engineering team to turn complex client challenges into tailored engineered solutions.
The role : This is a long‑term opportunity, all about building and owning customer relationships not just responding to inbound enquiries, but proactively identifying opportunities, solving technical problems, and helping clients improve their plant performance with smart engineering solutions. Projects can range from component upgrades to entire system builds, often involving long lead times and complex stakeholder engagement.
You’ll spend your time between existing client management and long‑term relationship building, working closely with internal engineers, project managers, and the GM to scope and deliver tailored solutions. You'll balance strategic planning, quoting / tendering, and face time with key decision makers across NZ and internationally.
