DPMC's National Risk and Resilience Directorate is seeking Advisors to contribute to work on national risk management and resilience policy.
These are exciting roles at the heart of central government.
Successful applicants will support the government's efforts to take a strategic, proactive approach to strengthening New Zealand's resilience to National Risks; –those significant hazards and national security threats that could have serious long-term effects on the safety, security and prosperity of New Zealanders.
Advisors are responsible for supporting work on dynamic, high-profile, and significant issues in a collaborative, cross-agency environment.
You'll work with agencies across the public service to lift New Zealand's resilience to National Risks through delivering the National Risk and Resilience Framework.
Advisors engage with whole-of-government systems and contribute to work that strengthens New Zealand's ability to anticipate, understand, manage, and respond to hazards, threats and emerging challenges.

The salary range starts from $82,751 - $87,348 p / annum including KiwiSaver contributions and appointments will depend on demonstrable skills and experience.
Security Requirements | Nga Whakaritenga Haumarutanga
You must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Special security clearance.
Normally to obtain this level of clearance you must be a New Zealand citizen or hold a Resident class visa.
Alternatively, you must have been a citizen of the UK, USA, Canada or Australia with a 15-year checkable background.
