Workshop Foreman - Heavy Mobile Plant

Our client is a well-established organisation with a long history supporting complex lifting, transport and vertical logistics projects across construction, infrastructure and residential sectors. With a modern fleet and a growing, energetic workshop team, they’re now looking for a hands‑on Workshop Foreman who can lead from the front and bring strong technical expertise—ideally with crane or heavy lifting equipment exposure.

About the Role

This is a key leadership position where you’ll guide a young, enthusiastic workshop team while ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the company’s mobile plant and fleet.

• Planning, organising and managing all scheduled maintenance for plant assets and light / heavy vehicles.
• Overseeing day‑to‑day workshop operations to ensure repairs, servicing and upgrades are delivered on time and to a high standard.
• Coordinating field breakdown repairs, including supervising subcontractors.
• Staying current with legislation and industry best practice to ensure ongoing compliance of all heavy mobile equipment.
• Training, mentoring and developing workshop staff.
• Embedding strong health, safety and environmental practices across the team.
• Being available for flexible hours, occasional weekend work and travel when required.
